Norman Ray Evans, 1950 - 2013
Norman Ray Evans, age 62, died Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 9:22 p.m. at his residence in Alger, Ohio.
He was born on July 26, 1950 in Lima, Ohio to Raymond & Thelma (Schaub) Evans who preceded him in death. On April 6, 1968 he married Peggy Sue (Fetter) Evans and they are divorced.
Norman was a self-employed painter.
Also surviving are two daughters: Rina Sue Evans Thacker of Roundhead and Mandy Lou (Dean) (Evans) Oakley of Lakeview; two sons, Randy Lee (Jorden Bundy) Evans of Findlay and Clint J. Evans of Alger; daughter-in-law, Wendy Sue Evans of Roundhead; four grandchildren: Ciarra Lynn Evans, Seth Michael Evans, Tawney Leigh Thacker and Torey Layne Thacker; two sisters: Geraldine (Dale) Hower of Waynesfield and Brenda (Gary Meeks) Evans of Lima; a brother: Dwayne (Patti) Evans of Lakeview; a half brother, Rob Evans of Bellefontaine; brother-in-law, Dan Schmidt of Sidney.
He was preceded in death by a son, Norman Wayne Evans; a sister, Deanna (Evans) Schmidt.
There will be a celebration of life for Norman Ray Evans to be held on Sunday, May 5, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Wendy Evans' Residence on State Route 67, Belle Center, Ohio.
