There's a purse with $100 tucked away at Tuesday's auction/raffle
Several events are on the Ada Music Booster and school music organization’s calendars in the next few weeks.
May 14 jewelry and purse auction/raffle
The boosters will hold a jewelry and purse auction/raffle fundraiser at the Ada VFW Hall at 7 p.m. (doors open at 6:15 p.m.), Tuesday, May 14.
Over $1,500 of jewelry and $3,000 of purses will be auctioned off or raffled off. One of the purses has $100 cash inside. There is also a silent auction with products such as lia Sophia jewelry, Yankee Candles, Pampered Chef, handbags and similar items.
Tickets are $10, which includes snacks. Tickets may be purchased in advance from any music boosters or may be reserved at the door.
May 17 Spring Fever Follies
The spring Ada High School choir concert is at 7:30 p.m., Friday, May 17, in the school auditorium.
The concert includes a performance by the Ada Varsity Singers, featuring their 2012-12 competition show, plus choir concert selections and recognition of the graduating seniors. Presentation of the Ada Music Awards to members of the vocal ensembles will also be part of the program. Tickets are $5 and are available at the door.
May 21 Band Concert
The end-of-the-year Ada High School band concert is at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 21, in the auditorium. The program will feature recognition of the graduating seniors and presentation of Ada Music Department awards to members of the instrumental music ensembles. The program is free.
June 11 Music Boosters
The first meeting of the summer of the music boosters is Tuesday, June 11, in the 4-H shelter house at the Ada Park. The event is a potluck carry-in dinner with the election of officers for the 2013-14 academic year.
