Alison Steinbrunner named First Team Academic All-American

Senior Alison Steinbrunner has been named First Team Capital One Academic All-America in cross country and track, in voting conducted by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
This is the first time she has been named to the national ballot.
Steinbrunner put together another brilliant season to cap off her career.
In cross country, she won her fourth straight OAC title and second consecutive NCAA III Regional.
At the NCAA III Championships, she finished second to earn her third straight All-American honor.
During the track season, Steinbrunner broke two of her own school records and also broke two OAC marks.
She also qualified for the NCAA III Indoor Championships in the 5,000-meter run.
Steinbrunner concludes her career as a 12-time OAC champion in track and currently has four individual school records in track and the school record in the 5k and 6k in cross country.
