Gene Autry Days comes to Hardin County Fairgrounds June 22-23
Now in its 20th year, Gene Autry Days take place Saturday and Sunday, June 22 and 23, at the Hardin County Fairgrounds, Kenton.
Non-stop entertainment will be provided throughout the two days. The schedule includes: Les Gilliam; Call of the West, with Jeanne Cahill and Jerome Campbell; John Buttram; Paul Belanger; Miss Devon & the Outlaw, Devon Dawson and Outlaw Jessie Del; and Kristyn Harris.
You will find over 65 tables of antique toys, cap guns and western collectibles, featuring Kenton Cast Iron toys. Lil’ Cowpokes Look-A-Like contest for children, western Look-A-Likes contest, Lasso up Cancer 5K, carriage rides, carriage display, horse show and Cowboy Church on Sunday, 10-11 am.
Admission to Gene Autry Days is $5 per person, with children 12 and under admitted free. There is also no charge for parking.
Breakfast with Jessie the Yodelin’ Cowgirl
Join Jessie the Yodelin’ Cowgirl (Devon Dawson) for breakfast. Mom and Dad-bring the camera! Meet Jessie and get her autograph, enjoy crafts and Jessie will perform for a half hour! Pre Sale Tickets Only available at the Hardin County Chamber & Business Alliance, Quest Federal Credit Union (all Hardin County locations), Hardin County Family YMCA and Jolene’s Cozy Café until June 17th. Breakfast includes pancakes, sausage, applesauce, orange juice, milk and coffee catered by Jolene’s Cozy Café for $10.
Chicken BBQ Dinner
A Chicken BBQ Dinner will be held on June 22 from 5 pm-7 pm in the Arts & Crafts Building, Hardin County Fairgrounds. Menu includes: ½ grilled chicken, green beans, potato salad, roll with butter, applesauce & bottled water catered by Stretch & Donna’s BBQ + More. Pre Order your Dinner’s today, Dine in or Carry Out. Lasso Up Cancer 5K Run
Come out for a 5K run/walk! Check in begins at 8:30am next to the Community Buildings. Run will be an out/back with a water station at half way point.
