Rose Anna Brown retired from United Aircraft Products
Rose Anna Brown, age 80, died at 6:55 p.m. on Friday, June 14, 2013, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
She was born on December 27, 1932, in Troy, Michigan, to Lawrence and Inez(Rudolph) Ball, who preceded her in death. In July of 1978, she married Russell J. Brown in Virginia and he survives in Ada, Ohio.
She worked for United Aircraft Products in Forest, Ohio for 34 years retiring in 1994. She was a lifetime member of the Ada VFW Post 9381 Ladies Auxiliary, where she held several positions within the auxiliary.
Also surviving are two sons: Robert Lambert of Vanlue, OH; Jack(Sue) Lambert of Dola, OH; a daughter Sandra(Bill) Farabee of Mechanicsburg, OH; 2 Stepsons: Russell A.(Donna) Brown of Raymond, OH; Dan(Chris) Brown of Ada, OH; 1 stepdaughter: Cathy(Steve) Harris, Bonita Springs, FL. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by: an infant son, Richard Lambert, 4 brothers: Kenneth, Darrell, Lawrence, and Robert Ball, and a sister Evelyn Cavenaugh .
Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada, Ohio, with Pastor David Coffin officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada, and until time of service Wednesday.
An Ada VFW Post 9381 Ladies Auxiliary Memorial Service will be held at 7:30 p.m.. Tuesday at the the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
