Severe thunderstorm on the way
AEP meterologists said that a hot ridge over the Plains will expand east on Wednesday placing northwest Ohio in a favorable location for a severe thunderstorm squall line.
While some thunderstorms could develop tonight or early Wednesday morning these storms are not likely to produce severe weather.
A greater threat will develop as temperatures soar toward 90F on Wednesday creating extreme instability. Preliminary data suggests a disturbance moving out of the Upper Midwest could cause a squall line to develop.
