Liberty and Quest close lobbies, drive-thrus remain open

The rise in covid-19 cases in Hardin County resulted in two Ada banks closing their lobbies and Beatutudes shortening its hours. Here’s updates from those bank’s Facebooks:

Quest Federal Credit Union - Effective Monday, Nov. 16, all Quest Federal Credit Union branch lobbies will be closed, out of an abundance of caution and for the safety of our members and staff. All services will remain available via drive thru, online channels, or by phone.

They seem to be having way too much fun at Vancrest. Amy Gossett is the winner of the recent Vancrest laundry basket raffle. There's more to come.The next item raffled off will be announced next Monday, 

 

Freshman Ella Marshall named honorable mention

Three Ada soccer players, Jacob Poling, Brenna Hissong  and Ella Marshall earned all-district honors. Details follow:

Jacob Poling
Ada senior forward Jacob Poling was voted first team all-district for Div. III in boys soccer recently by the Northwest Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association.

Poling scored 36 goals this season to help the Bulldogs finish 10-9. He also set a program single-game record with eight goals  in the regular season finale vs. Tiffin Calvert.

Poling led Ada to second place in the Northwest Conference with a 4-1 record and was named first team all-league as well.

Cindy Keller, director of nursing, deputy  health commissioner for Hardin County, issued the following announcement on Monday morning concerning covid-19 cases in Hardin County.

Due to an increase in COVID-19 cases and limited resources, the Kenton Hardin Health Department (KHHD) nursing staff will only be contacting positive COVID-19 cases in order to continue the COVID-19 contact tracing process.
