Early reports seemed to show little incidence rates of COVID-19 among children, leading health officials to speculate that children were less likely to contract and spread the illness.

However, recent surges in cases around the country have revealed a clearer picture about how COVID-19 impacts children. The most current data shows that now, unlike the early months of the pandemic, there is adequate testing for all individuals, not just those who are older adults or those who are hospitalized.

In a report released by the American Academy of Pediatrics released on July 17, 2020, children represent 8% of all confirmed COVID-19 cases.

Ada has a long history of Main Street restaurants. Here's one of those, and we invite Icon viewers to offer additional information.

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced the appointment of Kristy S. Wilkin to the Fourth District Court of Appeals.

Wilkin, of Hillsboro, will assume office on Aug. 3, and must run for election on Nov. 3, for the remainder of the unexpired term ending Feb. 8, 2023.

Wilkin is replacing Judge Matthew W. McFarland who was appointed by President Trump as Judge of the U.S District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.

Wilkin is currently a partner at Peelle Law Offices Co., LPA in Hillsboro, Ohio. She has served as an adjunct professor at Southern State Community College and held a judicial externship in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.

The license plate is faded, but the vehicle is pristine. It's Win Hauenstein's 1931 two-seater Ford Model A. Perhaps you've viewed it from afar. This photo series allows you to take a closer look. We spotted the classic at last Saturday's Park in the Park.
