All final Ada school grade cards from Kindergarten through seniors have been mailed and third grade through seniors have been posted to ProgressBook, according to an Ohio Alerts announcement made June 3 by Ada schools.

A reconstruction project of manholes along Main Street and North Avenue is underway this week in Ada.
Green and white markings on the pavement indicate that the work is underway.
Crews from Brenneman Excavating of Elida, have the manhole locations coned off and work is underway. The project is expected to take approximately two weeks, according to village officials.
Traffic will be maintained, but drivers are encouraged to drive slower than usual in the construction area. One purpose of the project is to keep the road level, thus eliminating the dips drivers often feel when driving over a manhole.
All academic programs, except law, at Ohio Northern University will begin on-campus instruction on Monday, Aug. 10, with classes held on Labor Day and during the traditional two-day fall break of Oct. 12-13.

The term will end with a final examination week from Nov. 16-20.
Students studying in the College of Law will start on Monday, Aug. 24, concluding on Friday, Nov. 20, and complete their two-week final examination period remotely.
According to the announcement: “This revised calendar is one way in which the university is following guidance from the CDC regarding the coronavirus”.
The editorial board of Aurora: The Undergraduate Research Journal at Ohio Northern University, announced the publication of its inaugural issue.
The first issue is titled “Better You, Better ONU: Advances in athletics, public health and safety,” and it showcases student-authored research using methods in pharmacy, kinesiology, civil engineering, biology and more to address pressing issues.
Among topics are active learning in classrooms, PTSD as a disease, training for increased lung capacity and breath-hold, streetlights and road safety, and a comparative analysis of athletes in soccer and lacrosse.
Both essay-length articles and posters are presented.
