Christian Pharmacists Fellowship International (CPFI) at Ohio Northern University is offering a "Polar Drop and Shop" event on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
CPFI will babysit your child(ren) for free, all day, while you shop (or sleep et cetera). The kids will play games, make crafts, watch a movie (at parent's discretion), and enjoy some Christmas activities in Room 151 at the Raabe College of Pharmacy. Please note, children are requested to be potty trained to take part.
This event is free, but those interested need to register by Monday, Dec. 2. Also, parents will need to provide a bagged lunch for your child(ren).
Bob McCurdy was among donors at Monday's Red Cross blood drive at Community Health Professionals. We asked to him estimate the number of quarts or gallons he has given in his lifetime. He answered: "I don't know. I used to have a card that provided that information. Let's just say I'm a donor since college." We can only imagine the total gallons.

Caitlyn Stover is majoring in criminal justice with minors in forensic science and psychology at the University of Findlay (UF); however, the Ada High School graduate is rounding up cattle, goats and poultry instead of computer hackers and home invaders.
At the recent FFA National Convention in Indianapolis, Stover received the American Degree, the highest honor the agricultural organization awards.

ADA - The youthful Ada girls basketball program looks to continues climbing upward under second-year head coach Morgan Bass.
Seven letter winners and four starters are back with no seniors on the roster. A key freshman also joins the team to help Ada accelerate its rebuild and improve on last season's 1-21 overall record (0-8 in Northwest Conference).
Despite their record, the girls battled hard all season and gained vital experience and character.

Joyce Rostorfer
Joyce Rostorfer, assistant vice president, mortgage and consumer lender in the Kenton has announced her retirement.
Rostorfer joined the bank in 2012 and has been in banking since 1973. She is the daughter of retired Kenton Fire Chief Frank Fields and Ruth Fields. After graduating from Kenton High School, she attended Bowling Green State University. She worked at The Metropolitan Bank of Lima for 2 1/2 years. Joyce then pursued her banking career for the next two years in Florida.
