Joseph Phillip Stephens, 1970-2013
Joseph Phillip Stephens, II, age 42, died on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 11:24 a.m. at Mary Rutan Hospital, Bellefontaine.
He was born on September 1, 1970 in Kenton, Ohio to Joseph P. and Linda M. (Harpster) Stephens who survive in Belle Center.
Joseph worked as a journeyman sprinkler fitter. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge #3615 of Indian Lake.
Also surviving is a fiancé, Jackie Haynes of Lakeview; two brothers: John (Patsy) Stephens of Belle Center and Jeff Stephens of Mt. Victory; a sister, Jaime Stevens of Belle Center; several nieces and nephews; paternal grandmother, Pat Stephens of Kenton; maternal grandparents: Bob and Ora Joyce of Ada.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Curtis Stephens and maternal grandfather, Myron Harpster.
A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger with Pastor David Schneer officiating.
Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. on Monday, September 2, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger and until time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Charity of the Donor's Choice.
