Audrey Hankins, Forest, new Red Cross Hardin community chapter exe
The American Red Cross of Northwest Ohio announces the resignation of Collene Conley, Community Chapter Executive of the American Red Cross of Hardin County. Conley resigned her position effective Sept. 24.
The American Red Cross thanks Conley for her service and dedication to the Red Cross mission, and wishes her well in the future. Conley served as the Hardin County Community Chapter Executive for over five years and she and her cadre of volunteers created a Red Cross service delivery model that can only be described as excellent.
“Conley, her advisory board, and volunteers have built a tremendous Red Cross service delivery model in Hardin County. We are extremely pleased that Conley will maintain a relationship with the Red Cross of Hardin County by staying on as a Red Cross volunteer,” stated David Collins, executive director of the American Red Cross of Allen County.
Replacing Conley effective Oct. 14, is Forest resident Audrey Hankins.
“When Conley advised me she was going to resign to accept a full-time position, I asked her if she could recommend a strong candidate for the position and she immediately recommended Hankins,” Collins stated. “We are truly blessed you have such high-quality individuals in leadership positions for the American Red Cross of Hardin County.”
Hankins currently works as the Hardin County Local Emergency Planning Committee Information Coordinator and will continue in that role in conjunction with her new position as Community Chapter Executive for the American Red Cross of Hardin County. Hankins brings a strong background in emergency services, public relations, and fund-raising experience to the American Red Cross.
“We appreciate the tenure of Collene Conley and look forward to the continued success of the American Red Cross of Hardin County under the leadership of newly appointed Community Chapter Executive, Audrey Hankins,” Collins said.
