The Hardin County Chamber & Business Alliance and the Buy Ada First Committee will host a Buy Local First Hardin County Holiday Contest Nov. 9 to Dec. 12. 

"We are currently seeking businesses to partner with on this initiative to encourage people to shop local this holiday season," said Annetta Shirk of the Hardin chamber.

Any Hardin County business may participate. Businesses would need to display the Buy Local First Hardin County sign and donate a gift certificate from your business. 

Gift certificate must be a minimum of $20. If your business does not offer gift certificates you could give a Chamber Gold gift certificate. All customers who stop by a participating business can register and receive a list of all the businesses in the holiday contest.
