National Chemistry Week means lots of chemistry demonstrations Oct. 23
Ohio Northern University will present the second annual American Chemical Society and Gamma Sigma Epsilon Chemistry Demos Extravaganza in the Mathile Center for the Natural Science room 247 on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 6:30 p.m.
Members of Gamma Sigma Epsilon will be conducting a number of demonstrations that include shooting the caps off water bottles and crushing pop cans. Other presentations will be lighting a dollar bill without burning it and experimenting with liquid nitrogen.
The night of demonstrations is to help celebrate National Chemistry Week that goes from Oct. 20-26. Admission to the night is one canned good food item per family that will go to the Ada Food Pantry.
