ONU's Kinkopf OAC men's soccer player of the week

For the second time this season, freshman Matt Kinkopf has been named the OAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of Oct 14-20.
Kinkopf also earned the honor the week of Sept. 9-15.
Kinkopf finished the week with three goals, as the Polar Bears defeated Otterbein 3-2 in double overtime on Wednesday and Marietta 6-1 on Saturday.
On Tuesday against Otterbein, Kinkopf scored at the 101:06 mark of the second overtime to cap off a thrilling 3-2 overtime victory.
Against Marietta on Saturday, Kinkopf would score his first goal of the afternoon by beating the keeper to the top right.
He added his second goal of the match at the 59:25 mark, beating the keeper to the upper right.
Kinkopf now has a team leading 12 goals this season and has scored five goals in his past three games.
Ohio Northern, who is ranked No. 20 in the D3soccer.com poll, will return to action on Wednesday, when it hosts Heidelberg at Kerscher Stadium at 4 pm.
