Elearea Roberts was retired from Wilson Sporting Goods
Elearea M. Roberts, 80, died on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013, at 5:27 p.m. at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
She was born on April 24, 1933 in Breathitt County, Kentucky, to Add and Flora (Carpenter) Marshall, who preceded her in death. In 1962 she married Orva Roberts and he died in 1996.
She was a homemaker and she retired from Wilson Sporting Goods of Ada after working for 18 years. She was a member of the Pentecostal Tabernacle Church of Alger.
Surviving are two daughters: Rose (Dave) Dyer of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Patricia (Mike) Holcomb of Forest; eight grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; three brothers: Denver Marshall of McGuffey, Nick Marshall of Jackson, Ky., and Herb (Nanie) Marshall of Salyersville, Ky.; a sister, Emily (Marcus) Brown of Waynesfield.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Sue Marshall; four brothers: Oran, Junior, Canaan and an infant brother.
Funeral services were Dec 9, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger, with Pastor Lewis Hicks officiating. Burial was in Grove Cemetery in Kenton.
