President Donald J. Trump announced members of the White House Counsel's Office on March 7, 2017. Included in these appointments is Rob Luther, JD ’06, associate counsel to the president. Most recently, Luther served as counsel to Attorney General Jeff Sessions on the U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary.

There will be more beautification along Main Street this summer with the addition of more hanging baskets. Last summer 20 baskets adorned Main Street and the Depot. This year there will be 28 baskets with the new ones placed along South Main from Lincoln to College, past restaurants, a flower shop, and the ONU Front Campus. Laura Barnhardt Corle: "That's the best thing I ever did"

During Women's History Month the ONU Department of Art and Design features its outstanding graduates on its Facebook. This is one of those features.

Laura Barnhardt Corle (BFA ’77) is one of the first Ohio Northern students to graduate with a BFA degree. Forty years later, she continues to make a living as a professional artist.

Amish Book Group going strong for three years

There are a lot of readers of Amish fiction, thus a lot of writers churning out books about a lifestyle quite different from most Americans.

For the past three years, Natalie Walton, of the Ada Public Library staff, heads up an Amish Book Group that discusses a book about the Amish way of life. Some books are mysteries, some filled with surprises, some include "English" (non Amish) neighbors, while some are romance novels.

The group reviewed "Assaulted Pretzel" by Laura Bradford when they met Tuesday at the library.

The Ada Public Library will be going through a renovation of the existing space, as well as an expansion of the building, and the addition of a parking lot. The following information is pertinent to construction companies:
