The Ada watertower painting is underway. And the Ada High School football stadium is looking pretty good also, thanks to a well-deserved overhaul.
The stadium work has a hometown touch. Tom Wilcox of T.J. Painting and Repair was awarded the stadium paint job. It includes adding some purple and gold to the stadium plus a complete new coat of white.
Bulldog fans will also find a golden bulldog on his haunches under the press box. Fans will also appreciate an update on the two popular football players on the press box back side.
Hey, there's a guy on the Ada watertower! A crew from L.C. United Painting, Sterling Heights, Mich., is giving Ada's watertower a new look this summer. The watertower was constructed in the late 1930s. It may take up to 150 gallons of paint before the job's completed.There's two more photos of the painting below that you won't want to miss.
Meet Dakota Gossman, 10, and a prince candidate for Ada Farmers' and Merchants' Picnic. He is the son of Matt and Katie Gossman of Ada. He was on vacation wwhen the group photo of prince and princess candidates was taken last week.

Children enjoyed a prince and princess tea with fabulous food and entertainment held at The Inn at ONU on Sunday afternoon.
