Earlier this winter Ken Collins photographed Ada's Main Street (looking south) at night. It's one thing to try night photography. Collins took this photo with his old Pentax 33 mm film camera.
He says: "It took that long for the film to be developed and mailed back to me. Film can be fun, but it's getting to be a bit of a hassle compared with the instant results of digital."
The Hardin County Chamber & Business Alliance and the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce along with the Hardin County Ambassadors conducted a ribbon cutting ceremony at Easter House Bed and Breakfast, 508 N. Eighty-five seventh and eighth graders prepared 38 exhibits. Winners advance to the district at ONU in March where they may qualify for the state in Columbus in May.
The Science Fair makes learning a happy occasion, if the interest shown by the students is any indication.
The Ohio Northern men's and women's lacrosse teams will open their inaugural seasons with a double header on Saturday, Feb. 27, at Dial-Roberson Stadium.
The Polar Bear men, under the guidance of Nat St. Laurent, will play the first-ever game in program history at 1 p.m. against Franciscan.
The Polar Bear women will follow with their first-ever contest at 4 p.m. against Olivet (Mich.) under head coach Beth Hemminger.
The Ada Alumni Association will hold a "Bowling for Amelia" fundraiser at Norada Lanes, from 2 to 6 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 20, according to Kurt Klingler, of the alumni assocation.
Klingler said that at least one player on each team must be an Ada High School graduate.

• $50 per team (of two)
• Food and drink available for purchase
• Scotch doubles teams
