The Freed Center presents ‘Jungle Jack Hanna’s Into the Wild Live’
The Ohio Northern University Freed Center for the Performing Arts and Nationwide Insurance present “Jungle Jack Hanna’s Into the Wild Live” on Saturday, Feb. 8, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Take a trip to the wild side and join America’s favorite zookeeper, “Jungle Jack,” as he features many of his favorite animals, fascinating stories and footage from around the world.
As a child, Jack Hanna spent his days cleaning animal cages for his local veterinarian and exploring the creek behind his house. Today, Hanna explores the corners of the globe as one of the most visible and respected animal ambassadors in the world. His enthusiasm and “hands-on” approach to wildlife conservation have won him widespread acclaim as an author, television personality, conservationist, and director emeritus of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.
Recognized around the country as America’s favorite zookeeper, Hanna has made countless television appearances since 1983 on shows such as “Good Morning America,” CNN’s “Larry King Live,” “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” Fox News programs, and “Late Show with David Letterman.”
Hanna took his infectious energy to the airwaves by creating three of his own nationally syndicated television programs: “Jack Hanna’s Animal Adventures,” “Jack Hanna’s Into the Wild” and, most recently, “Jack Hanna’s Wild Countdown.” Hanna and his TV crew have had the privilege to travel to Africa more than 40 times and visit each continent at least twice.
Tickets for this event are $10 for adults, $5 for children, and $5 for ONU faculty, staff and students. The Freed Center box office is open Monday through Friday from noon to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Phone orders are accepted with American Express, MasterCard, VISA or Discover by calling 419-772-1900. Tickets also are available online at www.freedcenter.com.
