Judy Lasko, life-long Ada resident, was active in many community organizations
Judith A. "Judy" Lasko, 77, died on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014 at 11 p.m. at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.
She was born on Oct. 2, 1936 in Ada, Ohio, to Ray J. and Helen M. (Doersam) McClure and they preceded her in death. On Aug. 26, 1967, she married Richard Lasko and he survives in Ada.
Mrs. Lasko was a homemaker. She formerly was the secretary of the Education Department at ONU for 20 years. She was a lifetime member of St. Paul United Church of Christ of Ada, where she was an Elder and former Sunday School Teacher. She was a member of the P.E.O. Chapter 0, where she held many offices. She was a member of the Sorosis Club of Ada. She was a 1954 graduate of Ada High School.
Also surviving is a daughter, Arlene (Scott) Allison of Ada; three grandchildren: Robert, Grace and Jillian Allison; a brother, Raymond "Gene" (Karen) McClure of Mt. Vernon; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis McClure.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 27, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada, with Deacon J. Michael Hood officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Ada.
Friends may call 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 26, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada, and until time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
The family encourages donations instead of flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul United Church of Christ, Ada and/or Bridge Home Health and Hospice of Findlay.
