Miss Vicki's Music Studio offers lots of musical classes; free preview week Feb. 3-7; check out the classes offered
Miss Vicki’s Music Studio of Ada, is offering free previews of group classes for the second semester. The studio offers group classes for:
• babies – age 6,
• group keyboard for ages 7 – 9,
• a home-school choir for 11 – 18 year olds,
• and keyboard for adults.
A "Free Preview Week" is Feb. 3 – 7. Class size is limited, and pre-registration is required. Open to all ages. For details, see www.MissVickisMusicStudio.com or call 419-679-8259.
Vicki Mills said that family classes (for babies – 4 year olds) are a great way to combine music learning and family time. Children 4 ½ - 6 begin a journey of music literacy through song, dance, and instrument playing. Youth ages 7 – 9 learn songs at the keyboard that they are singing, dancing, and drumming. And, 11 – 18+ year old home-schoolers can sing with the Jubil-Heirs.
The Jubil-Heirs is a newly formed home-school choir open to 11 – 18+ year olds. Singers should be able to consistently match pitch, sing with a healthy vocal quality, and possess a love of learning.
Sacred and secular music is rehearsed weekly, music literacy skills are developed, and singers perform throughout the local communities.
Jubil-Heirs meets Tuesdays from 1:45 – 4 p.m. Tuition for the semester is $115. Sibling discounts are available. Please call Vicki at 419-679-8259 to schedule an audition by Feb. 3.
Spring semester begins the week of Feb. 10 (following the free preview week). Register by Feb. 1 and waive the registration fee of $15. Visit www.MissVickisMusicStudio.com or call 419-679-8259 for more information.
