The Ohio Northern men's soccer team has been named a bronze recipient of the college team ethics and sportsmanship award by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).
The award recognizes teams that exhibit fair play, sporting behavior and adherence to the laws of the game, as reflected by the number of yellow caution cards or red ejection cards they are shown by referees throughout the season.
To qualify as a bronze recipient, a team must accumulate no more than 10 cards throughout the season.
Under 16th-year head coach Brent Ridenour, Ohio Northern went 18-4-0 and won made its sixth straight appearance in the NCAA III Tournament.
The Polar Bears also won their fourth straight OAC Tournament title and third consecutive OAC Regular Season championship.
