Snow forces schedule change for ONU track & field, swimming & diving, basketball teams
By Tim Glon
Due to blowing and drifting snow in Northwest Ohio, the Ohio Northern swimming and diving teams, the indoor track and field teams and the men's and women's basketball teams have been forced into making schedule changes.
The men's and women's indoor track and field teams will not be travelling to the Defiance Invitational on Saturday.
The men's and women's swimming and diving teams will now hold a virtual meet with Case Western Reserve. Each team will swim the meet as scheduled in their own pool, exchange times electronically and score the meet as usual.
The meet has been moved back to 1:30 pm, with ONU's Senior Day festivities scheduled to begin at 1 pm at the ONU Sports Center Natatorium.
The ONU portion of the meet can be seen via live video here.
The Ohio Northern men's basketball game home with John Carroll and the women's basketball game at John Carroll have been postponed and will be played Sunday at 3 pm at their originally scheduled sites.
Check back with ONUSports.com for more details as they become available.
