The Village Voice: 2014 recycling calendars are available
The long awaited 2014 Waste Management recycling calendars have arrived in the Village Water Office.
Residents who have their refuse collected by Waste Management as a part of the Village contract also have recycling collection available to them. As in the past, the recycling is collected every other week, whereas the refuse is collected every week. Many residents have come to rely on the calendars, which are printed and sent to the Village by Waste Management each year.
This year’s calendars are now available in the Village Water Office. They are available on the information table near the interior entrance to the office, as well as in the office. The Village also keeps the collection dates current on the calendar found on the Village website, www.adaoh.org.
In addition to giving you a handy resource for remembering the recycling collection dates, the calendars provided by Waste Management include recycling recommendations for many common household waste items. Some items that may often be placed in refuse containers may actually be recyclable. Tips for yard waste collection and bulk item collection are also included in the calendars.
Please contact the Ada Water Office with any questions regarding your refuse and recycling collection. Remember to move your refuse and recycling totes from the tree lawn and curb areas by the end of the scheduled collection day, and call the Water Office immediately if your totes have not been emptied according to schedule.
