Erma Lee Collins was retired from Lima Memorial Hospital as an RN
Erma Lee Collins, 80, died Monday, February 24, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at Lost Creek Care Center, Lima.
She was born June 1, 1933 in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky to William Lee and Lula Mae (Moore) Stone who preceded her in death. On June 9, 1950, she married Elmer Collins and he survives in Lima.
Erma was a registered nurse at Lima Memorial Health System in Lima. After retiring in 1988, she had a traveling music ministry performing services throughout several states. She was a member of the Lima First Assembly of God Church and a member of the women's club of the church.
Also surviving are a son, Gary Lee (Karlotta) Collins of Marion; two daughters: Debra Lynn Bryant and Sondra Kay (Mark) Reed, both of Cape Coral, Fla.; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; two brothers: Joe Stone of Dunnellon, F. and Kanith Stone of Dayton; a sister, Wilma Bolinger of Dunnellon, Fla; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers: Bernard Stone, Ray O'Brien and Raymond O'Brien; and a sister, Wanda Smith.
A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 27, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada with Pastor Jerry Hall officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada and until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lima First Assembly of God Church at 1660 Findlay Road, Lima, OH 45801 and/or Northwest Ohio Chapter Alzheimer's Association at 2500 Reynolds Road, Toledo, Ohio 43615.
