Ohio Northern extended its winning streak to 10 games with a 91-78 men's basketball victory over Heidelberg on Wednesday night at the ONU Sports Center.

The Polar Bears improve to 15-7 overall and remain in a first place tie in the Ohio Athletic Conference with No. 10-ranked Marietta with a 13-2 record.

The Student Princes fall to 9-13, 5-10.

Senior Devon Allen (Lima/Senior) led ONU in scoring for the fifth time in the last six games with a game-high 21 points. He has surpassed the 20-point plateau in all five of those games and in eight games overall this season.

Senior Konnor Baker (Ada) added 18 points.

ReStore Community Center served 8,662 meals last year and distributed 122 emergency food packages. The free meals include those served at noon four days a week and during at Crockpot Tuesday at the center, and the 1,500 lunches served to children at War Memorial Park during the summer.

The New York Times calls Broadway’s Next H!T Musical “hilarious.” And, it's on The Freed Center Biggs Theatre stage at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 11.

Master improvisers gather made-up hit-song suggestions from the audience and create a spontaneous evening of music, humor and laughter.

Service begins Feb. 14 - appointments required

Again this year, taxpayers can receive free income tax assistance from ONU business students through Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA).

The service is available from 5-9 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings beginning Feb. 14 at the business college.

Eda from Ada sells raffle tickets during the Ada Rotary Club fundraiser held at Norada Lanes on Tuesday night. Eda (pronounced Ada) Tanriverdi was an exchange student from Turkey last year. This year, her mother and sister have moved to Ada while Eda completes her senior year at Ada High School. She recently was accepted into the ONU pharmacy program.
