Mary Jane Whetsler, 1930-2014
Mary Jane Whetsler, 83, died on Friday, March 21, 2014 at Lost Creek Care Center, Lima.
She was born on December 16, 1930 in Dola, Ohio, to Charles Isaac and Della (Atha) Smith and they preceded her in death. On November 29, 1958 she married Marvin Ray Whetsler and he died on April 3, 1977.
Mary Jane was a homemaker. She formerly attended the First Baptist Church of Ada. She worked at HARCO Industries for many years.
Surviving are three daughters: Becky (Tim) Campbell of Ada, Cheryl Whetsler of Lima and Patricia "Patty" (Bryan) Shadley of Ada; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, March 24 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada, with Byron Hawbecker officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Monday, March 24, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada.
