Dennis Kindle, 1949-2014
Dennis R. Kindle, 64, died on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 6:10 a.m. at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.
He was born on September 10, 1949 in Kenton, Ohio, to Lonnie and Ruth (Wright) Kindle, who preceded him in death. On December 19, 1969, at St. John Lutheran Church in Blocktown, Ohio, he married Shelley L. Baier and she survives in Dunkirk.
Kindle worked for 34 years in the aviation refueling industry as a welder. He was a 1967 graduate of Hardin Northern High School. Dennis was a US Air Force Veteran who served from 1969 to 1973 at McConnel Air Force Base in Wichita, Kan. and in Korat, Thailand.
Also surviving are a son, Kyle Dennis (Kim) Kindle of Lima; two daughters, Kristine (Stephen) Benson of Findlay and Stacy (Shaun) Hawk of Spencerville; five grandchildren, Dakota, Kolton & Sawyer Benson and Kaylee and Marley Kindle; a sister, Sandra (Bruce) McClelland of Arlington.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Larry Kindle.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 7 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada, with Pastor Charles M. Horn officiating. Burial will be in Dola Cemetery, Dola. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Ada VFW Post #9381 Honor Guard.
Friends may call from 4–7 p.m. on Sunday, April 6 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada and until time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation and/or Blanchard Valley Hospital Cardiac Care Unit, Findlay.
