Let's see what's on The Freed Center stage this month
The Freed Center for the Performing Arts has a busy schedule during the second half of April. Here's the schedule:
· Student-Directed One-Acts – April 24-26, 7:30 pm; April 26-27, 2:00 pm, on the 3rd floor, Mathile Center for the Natural Sciences. Come experience an entertaining range of material in a workshop production of one-act plays, directed by a group of student directors passionate about their art.
· ONU Wind Orchestra - April 25, 7:30pm, The ONU Wind Orchestra presents the All-American program for its upcoming tour to Germany, featuring festival guest composer/conductor Bran Karrick.
· Spring Band Festival - April 27, 4:00pm, The Spring Band Festival will feature composer/Conductor Brant Karrick and ONU’s own Dr. Charles Bates with the Ohio All-State Honors Band, and the ONU Symphonic Band.
· ONU Jazz Band - April 29, 7:30pm
· ONU Symphony - May 2, 7:30pm The ONU Symphony closes out the year with an intense performance of the monumental Tchaikovsky Symphony No. 4. Elizabeth Dreusedow, winner of the Concerto Competition, will present Copland’s Clarinet Concerto.
