Winter Guard teams: Fifth consecutive high school state title; second consecutive junior high state title
Under the direction of Amy Webb and Jonathan Lischak, Ada's Junior High Winter Guard, High School Rifle Line and High School Winter Guard teams all had great performances March 29 at the Ohio Indoor Performance Association (OIPA)'s State Color Guard and Percussion Championships in Wapakoneta.

Approximately 70 winter guard and percussion groups from around Ohio competed in the event. The Junior High and High School Winter Guard teams won top honors as state champions in their respective classes.
This is the second consecutive year for the Junior High and fifth consecutive year for the High School. The Rifle Line placed second in their class and also had a great performance.
The High School Winter Guard team will travel to Dayton from April 3 to 5 to compete in Winter Guard International (WGI)'s Color Guard World Championships.The team is scheduled to perform in the preliminary round on Thursday, April 3, at 3:50 p.m. in the Cintas Center at Xavier University.
