Rotary bicycle riders coming through Ada on Medical Equipment and Supplies Abroad tour
The bikers are headed to Ada.
Beginning Saturday, June 21, bicycle riders from Rotary District 6600 will ride throughout the district to raise awareness and money for M.E.S.A. (Medical Equipment and Supplies Abroad), a project started in the district in 1981 that has grown and is supported by all Rotary clubs in the district.
On Wednesday, June 25, the group will travel through Ada as they ride from Findlay-Upper Sandusky-Ada-Lima.
The Ada Rotary will host the riders at Community Health Professionals at approximately 2-3 p.m. for a rest stop. The riders will come into Ada on East Lincoln Avenue and then travel south on Main Street.
According to Laurie Laird of the Ada Rotary Club, "The public is invited to join the club at CHP to wish the riders well. Also, Ada Rotarian, Angela Hersh, from Liberty National Bank, will join the riders for the day on Thursday, June 26, and ride from Lima to Defiance."
