Ada community pep rally Aug. 27
The annual fall Ada community pep rally is set for 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 27, at Ada War Memorial Park. That announcement is among several concerning next week at Ada schools. The other announcements follow:
ATTENTION STUDENTS WHO DRIVE TO SCHOOL: Pick up a parking pass form for a parking tag. Forms are available in the HSO. Tags are free; a replacement tag will cost $1.
2 HR EARLY DISMSSAL: Students will be dismissed at 1:30 for Teacher-In-Service Tuesday, Aug. 26.
CHEERLEADERS: The deadline for taking orders for jewelry fundraiser has been extended to Monday, Aug. 25. Please take order forms to Mrs. Breidenbach on Monday. She will go to both lunch periods to collect your order forms.
HIGH SCHOOL QUIZ BOWL: Any student in grades 9-12 who is interested in being part of this year’s high school quiz bowl should meet in Mr. Lusk’s room on Wednesday at 6 a.m.
STUDENT COUNCIL: Will be meeting during lunch on Wednesday, Aug. 27. Please pack your lunch and report to the Media Center at the beginning of your lunch period. Please see Mrs. Smith or Mrs. Bowden if you have any questions.
VOLLEYBALL: Ada beat Ridgemont 25-22, 25-10, 25-11. Lindsay Walden had 6 kills and 1 block, Carlee Marshall and Melina Woods had 4 blocks, Alexis Amburgey had 43 assists and 1 kill, Megan Simon had 10 digs, and Tori Wyss had 2 aces, 2 kills, and 5 digs JV won 25-17, 25-18.
