Naked Truth Event, women's conference, early bird tickets on sale
Naked Truth Event, women's conference, is scheduled Friday and Saturday, Oct. 3-4, at Shawnee Alliance Church, Lima, according to Kathy Burrus, chair of the event.
Burrus said, "Ever wonder what God’s opinion is about passion and intimacy in marriage? How does your spiritual health influence your sexual health?"
The conference will feature Dr. Juli Slattery, psychologist, author, speaker (and former co-host of the Focus on the Family daily broadcast), along with Linda Dillow, bestselling author, Bible teacher and international speaker on God’s perspective of sexuality.
"These gifted women, from two generations, combine their decades of writing, teaching and counseling experience to develop cutting-edge, biblically-based resources for today’s women," said Burrus. "But more importantly, they are brave enough to talk about the questions women wonder about but are afraid to ask."
The conference will be held Friday Oct. 3, at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Shawnee Alliance Church, 4450 Shawnee Road.
Tickets are $25 for women and $20 for students before Sept 1. After Sept. 1, tickets are $35 and $30 respectively.
