Icon's Methodist steeple story and photos reach over 8,000 persons
Raise a 9-ton steeple 54 feet in the air in Ada and you are bound to have an audience.
The steeple story, videos and photos was the largest single viewed story ever posted on the Ada Icon.
Wait until you read the size of the audience. Thanks to Google Analytics (which records viewer information) and the power of social media, here’s how the Ada Icon spread the word about the steeple project to former Ada residents around the globe.

On Sept. 4, The Icon posted one story and six videos, plus a series of photos of the steeple being put into place.
• From the Icon Facebook, the story was shared by 37 persons and reached 8,388 Facebook viewers.
• 578 persons so far viewed the final of the six videos, showing the steeple being placed on the tower. The six videos combined had 1,360 views on the Icon.
It gets better.
• 1,118 persons viewed the Icon story with the videos and photos and those viewers were on the Icon for an average of 7 minutes 3 seconds.
The story, video and photos were viewed in:
• 15 nations,
• 43 states and
• 150 Ohio cities and villages.
