Here's an update on activities at Ada High School from the school website:
Sept. 30th - 2 HOUR EARLY DISMISSAL Teacher In-Service
Oct. 8th – Cap & Gown presentation @ 8:40 a.m. Auditorium
Oct. 20th – Professional Development Teacher Work Day - No school for students
Oct. 23rd – Composite pictures 7 a.m. and 7 thru 12 Pictures starting at 8:45 a.m. in the ’86 gym
Aspirations: "All freshmen who were a member of the middle school aspirations team last year and all high school students who were a member of the aspirations last year, please get your lunch and come down to Mrs. Bowden's room on Wednesday for the first full group meeting. All other students who are interested in learning more about the team are welcome as well!"
BETA CLUB: The next Beta Club meeting will be Wednesday, Oct. 1, at noon. Please eat quickly and report to Mrs. Thaxton’s room. We will vote on officers so bring a pen or pencil.
ATTENTION GRADES 6-8: The Ada VFW is sponsoring The Patriot’s Pen essay contest for students in grades 6 to 8. Big money prizes are available! See your history teacher for more information.
6 – 12 MUSIC STUDENTS: The fall music fundraiser has begun. 6-12th grade music students, ALL order forms are due to Mrs. Glenn or M. Lischak by Monday, Oct. 13.
ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: If you come to the JV/Varsity Volleyball game Tuesday night vs Lincolnview, you could win $100. Make sure to get a free raffle ticket as you enter and the winning ticket will be pulled during the varsity game.
ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS OF FILM CLUB: Our first meeting will be on Oct. 1 at 7:00. We will be meeting in Mr. Ames’s room but will move to the auditorium if members present the need. Please have your permission slips turned in before the meeting.
ATTENTION ALL GIRLS GRADES 9-12: Signups for powder puff will be posted on Mr. Ame's door. Please sign your name under you appropriate team. The game will be at the field at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 8.
