University presents faculty recital, special guest featuring chamber music
The Ohio Northern University Department of Music presents an evening of chamber music in the Snyder Recital Hall in the Presser Building on Monday, Sept. 29, at 8 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
The program will feature Paul Moravec’s Pulitzer Prize-winning Tempest Fantasy for clarinet, violin, cello and piano.
ONU faculty clarinetist Georg Klaas and colleagues will perform a program of 20th- and 21st-entury chamber music. The program will feature Pamela Ashmore, lecturer in the ONU music department, on piano; Rachel Pinkney, lecturer in the ONU music department, on cello; and special guest violinist from the Toledo Symphony, Merwin Siu.
