What a day for Ada! Harvest and Herb Festival is Saturday; also Wilson's garage sale
It’s a downtown festival in Ada on Saturday.
It’s the 29th anniversary Ada Area Chamber of Commerce Harvest and Herb Festival. Over 175 booths with offer items for sale, stretching from Quest Federal Credit Union on the north to the Disciples of Christ Church on the South.

Here’s what’s in store during the day:
• 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. booth display open
• 10 a.m. Main Street parade
Cole Motors parking lot
• Noon – National Anthem played by the Ada High School marching band
• Crowning of the 2014 Ada Harvest and Herb queen
• 12:30-1:45 p.m. – Common Thread featuring Ada HS alum Kevin Plaugher
• 2-3:15 p.m. – Mike Wright and Jim Boedicker
Also featured:
• WONB FM radio broadcasting live
• Food and craft booths
• Entertainment
• Beautiful herb gardens in the railroad park
• Human Foosball, sponsored by the Ada VFW Post

The Harvest and Herb queen court includes: Kaylee Spangler, Alexis Amburgey, Olivia Guyton, Caralee Stover, Haley Jenkins, Anna Stransky, Gabrielle Rall and Gabby Linnon.

Need a football? - Wilson football garage sale from 8 a.m. to noon
During the Ada Harvest and Herb Festival Wilson's Sporting Goods, 217 Liberty St., will hold its annual football garage sale. The sale is from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 20.
What's available? Everything from footballs, overruns, blemish and scrap footballs and lots of other miscellaneous sports goods.
