Did you know: Cannon in the park is from the Civil War?
You pass it daily. Did you ever stop and think, "How old is it?"
The cannon in the Ada depot park is as much a part of Ada community as the Bulldog is to Ada High School. The cannon, place in 1903, commemorates soldiers who fought in the Civil War.
Bailey Bowers created the composite photo from this year and using a post card of early Ada to recreate the scene.
