Donald Puckett 1951-2014
Donald R. Puckett, age 63, died at 7:12 a.m. on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Lima Memorial Health System, Lima.
He was born March 16, 1951 in Lima, Ohio to Carl and Melba (Ousley) Puckett and they survive in Ada. He married Ethel R. Bowermaster on October 29, 1971 and she survives in Ada.
Donald retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Master Sergeant serving from May 9, 1974 to June 30, 1994.
Also surviving are three daughters: Crystal Grivna of Tampa, Fla., Donna Berry of Grand Forks, N.D. and Melissa Puckett of Ada; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; two sisters: Barbara (Ron) Murray of St. Marys and Brenda (Bob) Zimmerman of Ada.
A prayer service was held on Friday, September 26, 2014 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada. A Military service was to be conducted following the prayer service by the Ada VFW Post #9381 Honor Guard. It was Donald’s wish to be cremated following the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
