Patricia "Pat" Holbrook 1940-2014
Patricia S. “Pat” Holbrook, 74, died on Monday, Oct. 6, 2014, at 6:07 p.m. at Hardin Hills Health Center, Kenton.
She was born on July 9, 1940, in Paintsville, Ky., to John Douglas and Rusha (Blevins) Dye and they preceded her in death. She married Gerald R. Holbrook on May 15, 1960 and he died on April 9, 2000.
Mrs. Holbrook was a homemaker. She was a member of the Ada Full Gospel Church.
Also surviving is a son, Gerald Dwayne (Michelle) Holbrook of Mt. Victory and a daughter, Lynn (Paul) Nichols; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren; four Brothers: James Dye of Dunkirk, Virgil (Sonja) Dye of Ada, Paris (Sue) Dye of Jenera and Robert (Sheila) Dye of Ada; a sister, Ann (Stephen) Zuercher of Ada; sister-in-law, Ruth Dye of Dola.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lacey Mae Holbrook; a brother, Elmer Dye; and a sister-in-law, Peach Dye.
Graveside services will begin at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 9, at Preston Cemetery, Alger with Pastor Mickey Dye officiating.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Thursday, Oct. 9, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society and/or Hardin County Hospice.
