Ada Scouts collect food Saturday morning
Ada Boy Scout Troop 124 and Cub Scout Troop 124 will collect food and paper items for the Ada Food Pantry Saturday, Nov. 8, from 9 a.m. and noon.
According to the Scouts: "Please leave items in a bag or box with the yellow “Scouting for Food” tag attached to it on your front step by 9 a.m. on Saturday and Scout will be in your neighborhood to pick them up.
"If you did not receive a yellow tag at your home please place items with a note attached to it for pick up.
"If your items are not picked up by noon call Tom Lehman at 419-634-1466 and leave a message and we will pick it up as soon as possible."
Scouting for Food is an annual food drive sponsored by the Ada Citizen Scouting Committee as part of their community service. At this time of year the Ada Food Pantry is usually in need of food and paper items and this year is no exception. We ask that you please do not place any items in glass jars. We would like to make this year an exceptional year for collections. The Scouts would like to thank you in advance for your cooperation.
