Henry Howard, 1955-2014
Henry Howard, 59, died on Monday, Nov. 3, 2014 at 5:54 a.m. at Lima Memorial Health System, Lima.
He was born on Jan. 23, 1955 in Alger to Lebern and JoAnn (May) Howard and they preceded him in death. He married Cheryl L. Hunsicker on June 18, 1975, and she died on Aug. 30, 2013.
He retired from General Dynamics in March of 2014, where he worked as a welder.
Surviving is a daughter, Jessica (Haven) Lawrence of Alger; two sons: Brian Howard and Scott Howard both of McGuffey; six grandchildren: Tayler, Shalyn and Audrey Lawrence and Mason, Mackenzie and Allison Howard; seven siblings: Louise Morris of Kenton, Pauline (Jim) Sites of Kenton, Gary (Wava) Howard of Kenton, Tim (Charlotte) Adams of FL, Robin Campbell of Ada, Bub (Sarah) Williams of Alger and Donna (Mark) Conley of Alger.
He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Kenny Morris.
Funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 5, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger with Rev. Tex Rowe officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 from 2-4: and 6-8 p.m. at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
