Village Voice: Some leaf pick up tips and reminders
Leaf Pick Up – Week 1 is complete!
The Village Street Crews have been going strong with leaf pick up over the past week. With week 1 done, here are a few reminders:
• Having your vehicles and refuse containers out of the way have been a great help! Please continue to keep your street as clear as possible.
• Any debris other than leaves in your piles can prevent the crews from being able to pick up leaves. Please make sure there are no branches, limbs, or other non-leaf material, including trash, in your leaf pile.
• If your pile has been left because we cannot pick it up due to other debris, we will attempt to contact you at the contact information we have at the Water Office. If we are unable to reach you, you may contact our office for further information.
• If you have bagged leaves, please contact the Water Office. We will schedule a pick-up with our crews.
The Village provides this service, in part, to help keep our streets, sewers and catch basins clear of additional debris. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. Thank you for assisting us in keeping our Village looking great!
