Glenn E. Wince, 79, died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, at 7:04 a.m. at Lima Memorial Health System, Lima, Ohio.

He was born Nov. 1, 1935, in Weston, Ill., to Homer and Rose (Lorch) Wince. They preceded him in death. On June 20, 1981 he married Maxine Bayes Wright and she survives in rural LaFayette, Ohio.

He was a farmer and had worked at the Ada Farmers Exchange. He was also a member of the National Guard. He was sexton of Jackson Township for several years and was a 1953 graduate of LaFayette Jackson High School. 

He is survived by two daughters: Joan (Kevin) Hall of Lima, Ohio and Gina (Steven) Poole of Mobile, Ala.,; two grandchildren: Keri (Trevor) Jones and Kyle (Heather) Faulder and 1 step-grandson: Aaron (Tara) Corso; three great grandchildren: Caden, Addison, and Deacon Jones. 

He is also survived by three brothers: George (Carol) Wince, Charles (Fran) Wince both of Ada and Leslie Wince of Lima.

He was preceded in death by three brothers: Frank, Dale and Robert Wince and three sisters: Cynthia Thompson, Rosemary Wince and Ruth Riley.

Friends may call on Tuesday, Dec. 16, from 4 to 8 p.m. and until the time of the service on Wednesday, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada.

A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 17, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada, with Pastor Jack Duffy officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
