John Fisher was an Apollo Career Center grad
John A. Fisher, 39, died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014, at 1:13 a.m. at the St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima, in the presence of his family.
He was born on April 24, 1975, in Lima, Ohio to Bernard “Larry” Fisher, Sr. and Nancy (Donnal) Sprague. His father survives in Lima. His mother and his step-father, Howard Sprague, also reside in Lima.
John attended Allen East High School and graduated from Apollo Career Center in 1993.
Also surviving are 5 brothers, Steve (April) Fisher of Alger, Larry “Tubby” Fisher, Jr. of Lima, James Fisher of Lima, Timothy (Brooke) Fisher of Alger, and Josh (Serina) Fisher of Lima; 2 sisters, Maude (Brian) Gay and Melissa (Bob Joseph) Fisher both of Lima; 15 nieces and nephews and 2 great nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Raymond and Doris Donnal, and paternal grandparents, David and Doris Fisher.
A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec, 10, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger with Pastor Bill Prater officiating.
Friends may call 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, Dec. 9, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger and until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
