Gail Allen was stock clerk in ONU's central receiving department
Gail L. Allen, 67, died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015 at 6:40 p.m. at his residence, in Harrod, Ohio.
He was born on Dec. 4, 1947, in Lima, Ohio, to Evelyn “Evey” M. (Cox) Coulter and she survives in Cridersville, Ohio; his stepfather, Charles “Chuck” Coulter is deceased. On Oct. 24, 1970, he married Wendy J. Push and she survives in Harrod.
Mr. Allen was a 1967 graduate of Wapakoneta High School. He was a stock clerk in central receiving at Ohio Northern University for 30 years retiring in 2002. He was a member of F.O.E. #370, the Moose Lodge #199 both of Lima. He was a former member of the Street Rod and Corvette Association, and he played drums in a local band for several years
Surviving are his daughter Jammie (Nick) Richardson of Harrod; two brothers: Gary (Vickie) Allen of Elida, Ohio and Rick (Connie) Allen of Cridersville, Ohio; a sister Pam (Randy) Ingle of Wapakoneta, Ohio. Three grandchildren: Tanner, London, and Kayne Richardson, and his mother-in-law: Louella Push.
He was preceded in death by his father-in-law: Edward Push.
A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 18, at Lima First Assembly of God Church, 1660 Findlay Road (State Route 81) Lima, with Pastor Randy Davis officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Westminster.
Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 17, at the Lima First Assembly of God Church, and one hour prior to the service also at the church.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Lima First Assembly Church and/ or St. Rita’s Hospice.
