Gary Donnal was retired from Ford Motor Plant
Gary L. Donnal, 68, died on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015 at 9:07 p.m. at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.
He was born on Aug. 1, 1946 in Lima to Arthur and Loretta (Lawrence) Donnal and they preceded him in death. On June 18, 1967, he married Lorraine K. Barry and she died on Aug. 10, 2011.
He retired from Ford Motor Company – Lima Engine Plant. He was a former volunteer Law Enforcement Officer in Alger.
Surviving are two sons, Dustin (Kim) Donnal of Marysville and John Donnal, Sr. of Alger; four grandchildren: Kayla Donnal, John Donnal, Jr., Mary Donnal, and Melissa Donnal; three great grandchildren; three brothers: Ron (Dottie) Donnal of Florida, Leonard (Chris) Donnal of Alger and Mel (Judy) Donnal of Kenton; two sisters: Phyllis (Ricardo) Razquin and Linda (Tom) Bly both of Florida; a sister-in-law, Doris (Bill) Blum of Kenton.
He was preceded in death by two sisters: Janice Donnal and Karen Donnal.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 4, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger, with Pastor Steve Holbrook officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 3, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger and until the time of service at the funeral home on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to charity of the donor’s choice.
