Hardin Democrats plan Presidents' Day luncheon
The next meeting of the Hardin County Democratic Central and Executive Committees will be held Wednesday, Feb. 11, at 7 p.m. at Henry’s Restaurant, 995 North Detroit Street, Kenton.
Committee members should enter the north doors and go to the loft area on the right. Those who would like to eat and order from the menu are invited to come at 6:00 pm. to dine together.
The final plans for the Hardin County Democrats Presidents' Day Luncheon will be made. The keynote speaker will be announced as soon as confirmation is received.
The noon luncheon will be held at Walnut Grove First United Methodist Church north of Kenton on State Route 68. Carry-out luncheons will be available at 11:30 a.m.
Barb McQuown will be catering the baked steak lunch with all the trimmings. Tickets will be available from Central and Executive members after this meeting or by calling or emailing Don Traxler (419-234-8506 or [email protected]). Reservations must be made by Saturday, Feb. 21. Donations are $17 for adults and $10 for students elementary school through college.
Chair Don Traxler will be reporting on the Ohio Democratic County Chairs Association meeting held at the Ohio Democratic Headquarters in Columbus in January. He will inform Hardin County Democrats about the Main Street Initiative, a new program instituted by new Ohio Democratic Chair David Pepper.
Other regular business will be conducted. Persons who subscribe to the principles of the Democratic Party are invited and encouraged to attend this meeting.
