Tuesday public meeting addresses Klingler Road and Safe Routes to School projects
The Ada council will hold a public meeting in the Ada school media center at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 10, to discuss this year’s Klingler Road Reconstruction Project and Phase 1 of the Safe Routes to School Project.
The Klingler Road Reconstruction Project will be addressed first. This project includes improvements from the railroad south to Lima Avenue.
The meeting will then focus on the Safe Routes to School Phase 1 Project. This project includes improvements to sidewalks, curb approaches and ramps on Highland Avenue from Johnson Street to Grand Street, and on Grand Street from Buckeye Avenue to Montford Avenue.
“We invite resident to attend this informational meeting to find out more about these projects and how they may affect properties along the project routes,” Jim Meyer, Ada village administrator told The Icon.
Letters were mailed to all property owners along the project routes.
"A great community turn out allows us to continue to our funding sources that we have a strong community buy in on these projects, so please feel free to attend and invite anyone else who may be interested," said Meyer.
Persons interested in attending are asked to park and enter the main entrance, on the north side of the building. The parking lot and entrance may be accessed from State Route 81.
Persons unable to attend, but would like more information, may contact the Water Office at 419-634-4045, and ask to speak with Jamie Hall, Angela Polachek or Meyer for more information.
